I personally think the COD stories spur on the hatred that was created and then destroyed during the Cold War between the communists and capitalist, with USA and the Russia being the respectful leaders. Now these games are bringing a long forgotten and forgiven issue to the present unnecessarily and creating a very biased view of the communist Russia. There are children running around speaking in a very degrading manner of Russia. And I for one don't agree with this behaviour. This is just creating prejudice and segregation that will ultimately result in more racism, something that millions will have worked so hard to destroy in this world but it would appear from this games story some people don't share such a dream for a peaceful and tranquil future; not only for ourselves but our children and their children. Also i am not a Russian nor am I an American but I am an English bloke.
